Last night we celebrated the success of our two months 3D version of – our Club de Slasheurs.
We had a beautiful Bavarian Beer Party with ginger bread hearts and pretzels, dance and awesome guests!

We had such a beautiful time in the past two months as well as last night! Thanks to everyone who visited us at the club, who discovered us for themselves, who helped us with the project, supported us and made Club de Slasheurs such a magical place!

Over & out.
Love & cheers,

Club de Slasheurs is not only gallery and café but also concept store:

Our shop combines European young designer creations with home accessories, jewelry and vintage parts. Vintage fashion from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s faces modern menswear like J’ai mal à la tête or eco fiendly sweatshirts for girls designed by Izzy not Easy. Marc Schuhmann’s ED 5 poster collection, which is exclusive to receive the Club de Slasheurs, as well as coffee table books such as The Berlin Fashion Week Photo Diary and Stockholm New give the store in the old factory hall a feeling that is linking back to the Slash Muse Magazine. The NORR magazine, as well as postcards of the Norwegian designer Tone Tveit Gautefald let the Club become a holiday oasis.

Slime Time Caps, vintage light bulbs and Tripploss‘ 2-day tattoos let you remember that you are standing in one of Berlin’s Hinterhöfen. Artful jewlery creations by a.maze, fantastic hats by Corona Lantana and high end scarves designed by La Rogy caress the taste of Domaine la Louviere and Fräulein Brösel’s Schnapserwachen. Skateboards, Flowers, animal masks and more surprises coming in every day…

Our store represents our passion for details, our connection to Berlin, Munich and Stockholm, our love for the weird and the crazy as well as classic and pureness. Come and be mused and bemused of course! cheers!

to sully
=  1. To mar the cleanness or luster of; soil or stain
2. To defile; taint

Which side up? It’s a tough choice we make again and again. Some of us love the gleaming bulged side of the egg yolk up – where its liquid bursts and sullies the fried pieces of the egg-white and creates new unforeseen patterns. Some of us prefer the sunny side down, hard and hidden. Some of us can never make up their mind if this guck is appealing or disgusting.
What about people, art and life? Do we want the fascinating, disgusting, creative, sullying side up or down?
In Club de Slasheurs’ first exhibition SULLY SIDE UP. Five contemporary artists based in Berlin present their perceptions of urban life in their work.

Nomad Uno
Throughout twenty turbulent years, Nomad spent time at the centre of the Berlin graffiti scene and encountered life as a homeless street artist in San Francisco. Today, he has finally made it within the art world. From a penniless street performer, to selling his work to celebrities, he has witnessed society from the very bottom to its very top.

Kor Izoh
Growing up in the lurid environment of a family butchery, the artist turned to 80ies splatter movies and gloomy cartoons at an early age. These images had a strong impact and made a lasting impression. Today, his works have one thing in common: across genres they are inspired by modern media and the images it creates. Scenes of violence, anger and fear are an excessive exaggeration of our vulgar “tits’n’porn” culture. Such visualizations can be found not only in horror movies but also
in war reports, the news and even on the kids channel.

R T K C // Robert Kizielewicz
I prefer to work with pencils; water colours, acrylics on materials like wood and thick coated paper or things that I found in my environment! The source of inspiration for my work comes mostly from people: their moods, their behaviour, the sadness, faces, eyes, motion all the extremes in all its facets!

Kai-Alexander Donner
It was a long way filled with prosperous and less fortunate twists that led Kai-Alexander Donner to the art of painting. A longsome and surreal process guided him to follow his feeling of “this has to be done”. The artist admits: bottom line is that there is no element that is more contradictory to my character than art.

Sahra Zoë Polosek
Sahra Zoë is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Berlin, Germany. She works on various commissioned design as well as on self-initiated projects. Her fields range from illustrations for print magazines to the mood research and layout of directors interpretations for commercials.

/ Do you remember the dirtiest day of your life?
Kor Izoh: That depends on what dirt you mean?
Kai-Alexander Donner: I do. But I won’t tell you.
Sahra Zoë Polosek: I do.

/ What’s the best mask to hide a tainted / sullied character?
Kai-Alexander Donner: Lots of Humor.
Sahra Zoë Polosek: An even uglier one.
Kor Izoh: A well done pedicure.

/ How do you prefer fried eggs: Sunny side up or sunny side down?
Sahra Zoë Polosek: No eggs. Only balls.
Kai-Alexander Donner: Definitely Up!
Kor Izoh: easy over.

The exhibition still runs until 30th August at Club de Slasheurs, Großgörschenstraße 28, Backyard.
Opening hours of the Gallery: Thursday – Sunday, 12-20h.

On the hot hot Saturday afternoon of the 5th July we opened up our Kindergarten for creative fools: Club de Slasheurs!

It was a magical afternoon celebrating the art show opening of SULLY SIDE UP. starring Berlin based artists Nomad Uno, Kor Izoh, Robert Kizielewicz, Kai-Alexander Donner and Sahra Zoë Polosek. We enjoyed the delicious wines of Domaine la Louviere, cold beers, Popcorn, cake, Exclusive Coffee and ice cream while mingling into the summer night.

Thanks to Tobias Vetter and Tripploss we all got tattoos – some of the kind that will stick forever and remind of the day where we were all sitting at old school tables once again sharing our dreams about butterflies and children’s games – some of the kind that only last for 2days in the new look of SlashMuse and Club de Slasheurs’ logos designed by Swedish graphic designer Olof Bruce.

DJ J’espère and KOLMER were a big support making sure we enjoyed ever minute of ice cream in the deck chairs as well as rummaging in our pop up store that offers fashion, vintage, accessories, jewellery, coffee table books, magazines, home accessories, post cards and an exclusive Poster edition by Berlin based photographer Marc Schuhmann! The product range is growing everyday now thanks to more and more exciting designer cooperations. So, just pop by and have a look at our Club!

We thank everyone who came from near and far away to join us for this beautiful day, we thank our fantastic sponsors and all our amazing helpers making this place happen!!

Especially after Fashion Week (it's always before Fashion Week) we question ourselves or more dubitate about the sense of the fashion circus from time...
